The Launch Board for Indie Games, $29 a Listing
Here's a hard truth about launching an indie game: players can't wishlist what they never see.
According to SteamDB, more than 20,000 games were released on Steam in 2025. And that's just Steam. Add itch.io, mobile and console, and the sea gets a whole lot bigger.
In a sea that size, a new release is easy to miss. Without help, your game is just another little fish, hardly ever found. Every player who never hears about it is a wishlist you don't get and a sale that slips away.
The Launch Board is one more place for your game to be seen.
What the Launch Board is
The Launch Board is Launch Tavern's list of upcoming indie game releases. Think of it as a tavern wall where upcoming launches get pinned up for players to find.
It lists real upcoming games, each with its release date and a link straight to its official store page. Steam, itch.io, mobile and console games are all welcome.
For players, it's free to browse. They can look through what's coming up and click through to the store pages of games that catch their eye.
For developers, a spot is $29 per listing, one time.
What you get for $29
When your game is on the board, it gets its own spot. That spot shows your game with its release date and a link to your official store page.
Listings only ever link to official store pages, so players go straight to the place where they can wishlist or buy.
Once you're listed, you can share the link wherever you like. And if anything changes, like a new release date, you can email us any time to update your listing or remove it.
How listing works
Getting on the board is simple:
- Pay $29 for your spot. Nothing is listed until payment is received.
- Send your game details. The submit page has a short form for the basics about your game, its platforms, release date and store link.
- We check it. We review every submission in 48 hours or less against your official store page, then add your game or reply with a question.
- You're on the board. Share the link and point people to it.
That's it. Live in 48 hours or less.
Who it's for
The Launch Board is for indie games with a launch still ahead and a public store page. If you're on the team behind the game, or you're allowed to submit it, you can list it.
It doesn't matter if you're a solo dev or a small studio. It doesn't matter if you're on Steam, itch.io, mobile or console. If your game is coming and it has a real store page, there's a spot for it.
What it is and isn't
We want to be straight with you. A listing is a spot on the board. It puts your game somewhere players come to browse upcoming releases. It does not promise wishlists, sales or coverage. Nobody honest can promise those.
What it does do is give your game one more chance to be found in a very big sea. And when you're a little fish, every extra chance counts.
Want more than a listing?
A Launch Board spot puts your game on the wall. If you want the whole launch side handled, that's what the Press Start Kit is for. Launch Tavern rewrites your Steam page and press kit for you in 48 hours or less. Sale: $49 (reg. $149), ends Nov 15. See the Press Start Kit.
Already out on Steam? Launch Tavern rewrites your Steam page for you in 48 hours or less with the Steam Page Fix. Sale: $59 (reg. $79), ends Nov 15. See the Steam Page Fix.
