Refund policy

Short version: if we have not started, you get all your money back. If we deliver, you get a revision. If we are late, you get part of your money back and still get the kit.
1. Before work starts: full refund
Work starts when we begin research on your completed intake form. Until then, you can cancel for any reason and we refund 100% of what you paid. Email support@launchtavern.com with your order email and we will confirm.
2. After delivery: revision guarantee
- Every Press Start Kit includes one revision round.
- Request it within 14 days of delivery, with your notes in one message.
- We deliver the revised kit within 48 hours of receiving your notes.
- If something we wrote is factually wrong about your game, we fix it for free at any time, and it does not count as your revision.
Once the kit is delivered, the work is done, so we fix it rather than refund it.
3. If we miss 48 hours: partial refund
We aim to deliver within 48 hours of receiving your completed intake form. If we miss that window, we refund 50% of what you paid automatically, and we still deliver the full kit. Delays caused by missing or late intake information do not count.
4. What is not refundable
We never promise wishlists, sales, press coverage or replies from creators, so refunds are not based on those outcomes. Whether a creator covers your game is always their choice.
5. Founding orders
The founding price ($49, first 10 orders) has the same refund terms. The testimonial you agreed to give is never a condition of a refund.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days. If anything looks wrong, please email us before opening a chargeback; we will sort it out quickly.
