For indie devs on Steam, itch.io, mobile and console

Send us your link. We do everything.

A done-for-you launch service for indie games. Send us your game link and Launch Tavern handles the rest: store listing copy, tags and keywords, a press pitch, 25 verified creators who cover your genre, a launch-week plan and trailer beats. Nothing for you to figure out. Built to get your game more visibility and traction, ready in 48 hours or less.

Founding price of $49 for the first 10 orders only. Regular price after that is $149.

You spent years on the game. The store page got one weekend.

Copy that undersells

Your short description talks about the vibe and forgets the loop. Players scroll past before they know what they would actually do.

Tags on autopilot

Wrong tags put you in front of the wrong players. Steam's recommendations notice, and so do the people who bounce.

Outreach into the void

Mass emails to creators who stopped posting last year, or never touch your genre. Hours spent, zero replies.

What's in the Press Start Kit

Seven items on the menu. One consistent voice.

  • Store listing copy for each platform

Steam or itch.io page text, App Store and Google Play listing text and keywords, and a Nintendo Switch eShop description. Leads with your core loop, fits each store's limits, and uses only claims from your own materials.

  • Grouped tags

Real Steam tags, grouped by genre, mechanics, theme and discovery, with keep, add and drop calls and a reason for each. Matching itch.io tags, plus App Store and Google Play keywords for mobile games.

  • Press pitch email

A short, personal pitch with a subject line that says what your game is. Built to be customized per creator in under a minute.

  • Verified creator list, 25 entries

YouTubers, TikTokers, streamers and sites matched to your genre and platform, including mobile and Switch creators, each active within the last 90 days, with a link to a recent relevant piece.

  • Launch-week social plan

5 to 7 ready-to-post drafts across X, Bluesky, Reddit and short video, each with copy, visual direction and a call to action.

  • Trailer beat sheet

A second-by-second outline: visual, on-screen text and audio cues, so your trailer shows the hook in the first five seconds.

  • Launch checklist

The boring stuff that sinks launches: capsule sizes, demo timing, press kit, key requests, review copies, day-one patch notes.

Sample kits

See two before you buy one.

Two full sample kits, two very different genres, built only from public store pages and the developers' own materials. Every claim links to its source.

FAQ

Questions devs ask us

What is Launch Tavern?

Launch Tavern makes the Press Start Kit, a launch kit for indie games on Steam, itch.io, mobile and console. One kit includes store page copy, grouped tags, a press pitch email, 25 verified creators and sites matched to your genre, a launch-week social plan, a trailer beat sheet and a launch checklist.

How much does the Press Start Kit cost?

The Press Start Kit is $149 USD per game. The first 10 orders get a founding price of $49 in exchange for an honest testimonial after delivery.

How long does delivery take?

Your kit arrives by email as a shareable page in 48 hours or less from your order. Just send your game link at checkout and we do everything else. One revision round is included.

Does Launch Tavern support itch.io as well as Steam?

Yes. Every kit is written for the platforms you choose: Steam, itch.io, or both. Copy, tags and checklists follow each platform's own rules and limits.

Do you do mobile and console games?

Yes: Steam, itch.io, the App Store, Google Play, the Nintendo Switch eShop, and console indie storefronts on PlayStation and Xbox. One kit per game, focused on your main launch platform, with notes for the others.

How is the creator list verified?

Each of the 25 creators or sites has published content in your genre and has been active within the last 90 days when we check. Every entry includes a link to a recent relevant piece so you can personalize your pitch.

Do you guarantee wishlists, sales or press coverage?

No. Nobody honest can. We give you clear, accurate launch materials and a researched outreach list. Results depend on your game, timing and follow-through.

Is the kit written by a person?

Drafts are produced by our research and writing workflow, which uses software tools. Every kit is then checked by a human for accuracy, tone and platform rules before it reaches you.

What do I need to provide?

Just your store or game page link. We pull everything else from your page. If you want to add a launch date or anything we should know, there is an optional short form after checkout.

Who owns the kit?

You do. Use, edit and publish everything in your kit however you like.
